An afternoon tea party with fairlife
My girls love, love, love a tea party and after a long rainy season (so rare for Southern California) we've been trying to spend our afternoons outdoors. I gave Francesca a mini tea set and the book A Bargain for Frances for her birthday last year (which talks about a blue and white pattern china tea set) which they both like to read. We gathered some berries, a thermos of mint tea, some tea cakes and fairlife ultra-filtered milk and we headed outside.
I partnered with fairlife ultra-filtered milk for this post. I had been using almond milk, assuming it was good, because it seems everyone around me uses it. My girls just don't love the taste and the process of making almond milk is actually incredibly wasteful and harmful to the environment. And then I did my research on nutrition, which I feel sheepish to say I hadn't before. Almond milk, along with most dairy substitutes, have nowhere near the same amount of protein as cow's milk. In fact, fairlife ultra-filtered milk actually has 13x the amount of protein found in almond milk, never has any artificial growth hormones, and is lactose free. They love it! It's delicious and I feel good about them having it so it's a win-win!
Thanks to fairlife for sponsoring this post. All opinions are entirely my own and I only support brands that I gladly purchase myself.
