spring dreams

i have sat in this winter and it's sadness. spending time with my family close and absorbing the loss of my mother. slowly the world has woken up around me and with it a message of hope and renewal. spring is here and i gladly accept the sounds of the birds, the blooming jasmine, and the warmth of the sun. i'm looking forward to a week off with my girls!
