Let It Snow at The Four Seasons Westlake Village
elodie's favorite month is december (being her birthday month) so when we received a press invite to the
event we happily said yes. we packed our overnight bags and listened to christmas carols in the car. it felt a world away from our home even though it was only a short forty five minute drive. when we arrived the girls were greeted with cute little teddy bears and bathrobes with their names on it (and miniature olaf stuffies which they loved.) elodie also loved trying to find the hotel's elf on the shelf hidden in the lobby.
we then tidied up and headed down to the festivities. the girls loved meeting rudolph and santa and taking a little train ride around the property. it was a whirlwind of snow and outdoor activities topped off with cookie decorating with mrs. claus (elodie's favorite.) we all had a family dinner together after ice skating on a beautiful snowflake rink. the ice was simulated thankfully so francesca was also able to participate.
the next day we had a farmer's market brunch with special visits from elsa, anna, and olaf. we spent the next few hours at the pool before heading home with tired and content girls. such a perfect overnight getaway and i hope we get to do it again next year. thank you for hosting us
