growing up: elodie's concert

elodie had her school music concert this week. this is her second time performing for us and each time we have been moved to tears. she talks about it for weeks leading up to it and slowly we learn the songs as she hums them about the house. it was so sweet how she laid out her concert outfit the night before. a pretty swan shirt, a tutu and silver shoes. she said, "miss inge says we need to get there by 9 am sharp" and she was so aware of time that morning. these little glimpses into a bigger world for a bigger girl. i love you my dear.
