watching 'shows' around our house is a really special treat usually reserved for when elodie is sick or i am tired and need an extra 30 minutes of shut eye in the morning. this weekend elodie asked to watch
'classical baby' - if you don't know about this
hbo series, i definitely recommend checking it out. there are three disks with several short (2-3 minute pieces) featuring music from bach, satie, tchaikovsky amongst others. the graphics are really sweet and soothing and showcase artists such as miro and monet. it is so nice to snuggle with her on the couch while dreaming quietly to debussy. sometimes a mama needs extra rest and i honestly don't feel guilty about her watching this! two little episodes we really like
here and
here.
