Jul 28 Up the coast we go...to the San Juan Islands!

After we went to Bolinas we had to hurry a bit to make it to a ferry to the San Juan Islands. We were able to stop in Healdsburg for a picnic and while we wanted to stop at an amazing swimming hole on the Russian River that we stopped at on trip up to Seattle last summer but Francesca was sleeping. Thankfully we found an amazing place on the Eel River a few hours up the road. Bliss!

We stopped for a few hours in the Redwoods before continuing straight to Eugene. I hope next summer we won't be so rushed. I want to camp in the Redwoods (the Burlington campground looked dreamy!)
