happy fourth of july

this fourth of july was the first one in our new home. it was such a treat to be able to walk to the independence day parade. our next door neighbor was going to be marching in it with her horse on behalf of our local stables. we ran into a few friends on the walk to and from the parade and stopped for fish tacos after. such a full heart being in our new neighborhood.

later on we went to a friend's house for a bbq and fireworks. we know such good, good people. i'm so grateful for our los angeles community.

elodie was so excited to be able to stay up later than frankie and watch the fireworks our neighbors were lighting. she hugged us both so many times and said "fireworks are relaxing right?" i love this little being with all my heart.
