i lived in the south of france (aix-en-provence) for several months in my early twenties. one of my favorite things was going into marseille to see my friends and spend the weekend. this music reminds me so much of the flavor and culture in that sometimes sketchy, always colorful, port city. i put this on and immediately feel the sun pouring in the french windows, the smell of espresso and the anticipation of a long summer day stretched out in front of me. enjoy!
