a friend of mine, jennifer cohen, who i took yoga teacher training with in new york introduced me to this quote.

we recently had the opportunity to go out to joshua tree together (and to palm springs - i'll post about that soon!) being in the quiet of the desert was such a treat. elodie had our undivided attention, no phones or distractions. i can feel her energy shift when she gets this time with us. sometimes we have to step out of the flow of daily life to reconnect and remember what a special little person we have been given to watch over.
