we just went out to the new ace hotel in palm springs for a photo shoot with elodie. we spent 4 peaceful nights under the stars listening to gram parsons echoing off the mountains. i have a feeling we are going to be spending a lot of time at our new home away from home. it just doesn't feel so bad to be up with the rising sun (thanks to the newborn) when you are out in the desert and able to take a dip to get rid of your sleep deprivation. oh and they have stumptown coffee. also necessary for this weary mama. i will never forget these sweet first weeks as a family.
