elodie's first trip to nyc. let me tell you a little bit about traveling with a 6 month old. much easier to do with a first class upgrade on virgin air. i was going back east for a week of model casting, client meetings and work work work and couldn't bear the thought of leaving her at home. bringing the snap and go, her infant car seat and the ergo (the best baby carrier EVER!) were invaluable. super easy to gate check and i used the ergo when boarding the plane to keep my hands free (well, as free as you would imagine having diapers, wipes, toys, breast pump etc.) i think infants are easy breezy to entertain and i'm sure the toddler years are going to be a far cry from this semi-relaxing trip. also, strapping her car seat into the cabs was a cinch. my favorite was crossing the williamsburg bridge, heading down delancey and all of a sudden hearing the reggaeton blaring out of the windows. welcome to new york sweet elodie!
oh, and p.s., she loves her little sophie giraffe. worth every penny!
